      This paper analyses the scientific papers authored by between 1999-2008 researchers from Shijiazhuang Tiedao University and published in SCI journals from some aspects， including numbers， subjects， high yield authors，cited times and periodicals．Based on the data，an evaluation is made of the achievement of scientific researches of STU．
